The Challenge
Coffee prices in Malaysia are scattered across chain apps and social posts — no single, trusted source. mykopi.my set out to be the open, community-verified price database, with an original monthly index no one else publishes.
Our Solution
Built a bilingual (BM/EN) Astro app on Cloudflare Workers + D1:
- Verified prices for ZUS Coffee, Luckin, Gigi Coffee, Starbucks Malaysia and 6+ other major chains, updated monthly
- The original Indeks Harga Kopi Malaysia monthly report
- No-account caffeine tracker (local-storage, WHO 400mg guidance)
- Coffee games (Barista Battle, Kopi Crush)
- Open data published CC-BY 4.0 with a public data portal and methodology page
