Rockstarmedia.com.my — Automated Import Gaming Deals Pipeline

The Challenge

A gaming deals and stock-tracking site needed fresh, accurate product data — but manual updates would go stale within hours. Prices also needed to be shown in MYR, not USD.

Our Solution

Built an Astro site on Cloudflare Pages fed by n8n workflows:

1. PA-Daily-Deals workflow queries the Play-Asia API with server-side filters (onsale=1, instock=1, fx=MYR) so only genuinely on-sale, shippable items appear
2. Live MYR prices from the API fxprice field replace hardcoded estimates
3. Product images captured end-to-end (workflow → daemon → content files)
4. Deals page thumbnails, tracker live stock status, and a homepage Top Deals strip with affiliate links
